Dr. Wang is a labor economist with expertise in immigration, self-employment, small business dynamics, entrepreneurship, discrimination, family, and the interplay of public policy with economic outcomes.  

Her research aims to provide actionable insights into the mechanisms driving labor market phenomena and economic policy effectiveness. Her research findings have been published widely in top-tier academic journals such as the Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, Journal of Policy Analysis and Management, Industrial and Labor Relations Review, and Journal of Population Economics.
